International Folk Dance Festival 2005
Dunedin Dancers held its 18th International Folk Dance Festival from 23rd to 30th July 2005, when around 100 dancers and musicians came together for a week of music and dance.
The Festival was based at George Watson's College, Colinton Road, Edinburgh, with public performances at Falkland Palace in Fife, outside the Scottish Parliament, in the Church Hill Theatre in Edinburgh, and at Stirling Castle.
Dunedin Dancers welcomed three European Groups to its 18th Festival:
- Dimitrije Tucovic from Serbia
- Trachtengilde Schwalenberg from Germany
- Volkskunstgroep ‘t Havermeuleke from Belgium
