For any dancer with a reasonable grasp of the basics of Scottish Country Dancing, this is informal social dancing which includes a varied selection of dances chosen by the caller on the night, most of which should be familiar. We dance to live music from one of our regular musicians playing accordion every second week; on the other evenings we dance to recorded music.
Date | Music | Caller |
15th Nov | Marian Anderson | Linda Watson |
22nd Nov | Iain MacPhail | Seonaid Scott |

Here is a list of the dances that featured in the recent Wednesday and Monday evening classes
General notes
Dress is informal and all dances are walked through; programmes are not published in advance.
There is a short break half way through the evening.
For everyone's enjoyment, please bear our Social
Guidelines in mind.
This is informal social dancing - we do not run classes to teach dances or technique so our group
is not ideal for absolute beginners.
The Edinburgh Branch of the RSCDS
run beginners classes if you require them.
It would help if you could pay by electronic banking, either in advance or at the door.
If this is not possible, please bring exact change and pay when you arrive and sign in.
The bank account details are, as always
